Rename to 'Computer game'?
I don't think I've ever heard anyone talk about a "personal computer game". Google brings up only Wikipedia, a bunch of sites that pull Wikipedia data and accidental combinations (48,000 results), while it gives over eight million results for just 'computer game'. People probably will not be linking over to 'Personal computer game', while they will link to 'computer game' and 'video game'. I suggest we merge the articles together into just "Computer game" and have "Personal computer game" and "Video game" as redirects. There doesn't seem to be a meaningful difference between these - there may once have been an important distinction, but most people seem to use the phrases interchangably. --Tom Morris 16:09, 28 June 2008 (CDT)
- Changed my mind. Video game should become the primary article for computer games, video games and 'personal computer games'. Any type of game that you play on a computer, console or similar device should be a video game. Google has 78.6m hits for "video game" while only 8.5m for "computer game". --Tom Morris 16:26, 28 June 2008 (CDT)
